Mr Kwila with Ana Sinclair

For nearly 20 years, Brisbane based Mr Kwila has found a niche in the market for speciality timber products by building an outstanding service through strong client relationships.

Specialising in Papua New Guinean sourced wood supplies, largely from the hard wearing Kwila tree, Ana Sinclair has seen her family business prosper by getting to know her customers on a personal level.

“We have a small base of clients that we look after regularly, we will never be the biggest, and we never want to be, it’s our little niche market,” said Ana.

“I like it better, you get to know your clients on a first name basis, you know what they are up to, and we can assist in helping them find things that they might need.

“It’s more personable, and I think that’s what everyone likes – that’s the bottom line for us.”

Ana discovered Truck Assist via a customer, who recommended the brand from his own positive experiences.

“Our client in Rockhampton uses Truck Assist, he was raving about Truck Assist, and it’s a very trusted brand.

“He put his faith in them, and they helped him. So we wanted to have that same peace of mind,” said Ana.

For Mr Kwila, the ability to keep the company’s new tray back Fuso on the road is important, with Truck Assist’s comprehensive motor cover, downtime cover and access to the truck breakdown service, all important parts of the Drive Pack Insurance offering.

“We do deliveries because it just makes life easier for our clients, and it makes it easier for us, because we can prioritise and plan,” said Ana.

“We send two of the boys with any delivery that we are doing, they get to meet the client, they get to see what the project is, and where they are up to, for them they get to be a first name basis, which I think is the best thing.”
