Our Truck Assist Roadside Assistance Process
If you have a breakdown, there are three easy steps to get you back on the road.
- Call our Customer Care team on 1800 827 747, and we will dispatch assistance
- Your truck will be fixed at the roadside or towed to a repairer, depending on the severity of the situation
- You get back on the road with minimal interruption.

Can I get cover for multiple trucks?
Yes. You can purchase cover online for up to 10 trucks at a time.
If your fleet is larger than 10 trucks, we can customise a solution to fit your needs. Give us a call on 1800 827 747 so we can make a plan that’s right for you.

Is this service available in all states and territories of Australia?
Yes. With Truck Assist – we go where you go. No matter what, no matter when, our trusted network of national service providers are available to help in any situation.
Understandably, you may experience minor delays obtaining assistance in remote or sparsely populated areas – but we'll try to get there!

How long will the service provider take to get to me?
Getting you safely back on the road is our top priority.
When you get stuck, we’ll give you an estimated arrival time, so you know when help will come. Factors like location, time of day and traffic conditions all play its part, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any changes as best we can.

If my truck needs towing, where will it be taken?
We’ll tow your truck to the nearest Truck Assist service provider. We take your vehicle to providers we trust, so you know it’s in the right hands.

How long am I covered for and how do I pay for it?
Your cover lasts from 12 months from the date of purchase. You can choose to either pay:
- A simple one-off payment via credit card
- Monthly instalments via Visa/Mastercard/Direct Account debit – online or over the phone
